What will happen to my pets if they get sick or injured?


A: With the Meet and Greet we request from you that the vet cards are left somewhere visible so that if needed we can take the card and go to the vet your pets are registered at.
If there is a payment payable to the vet, you will be liable for the account that will be invoiced to you.
You will also sign an Emergency Consent which forms part of the Terms and Conditions you sign the during Meet and Greet.


Can I be assured with the same sitter each time?


A: We prefer to have the continuity of the same pet sitter each time because the pets know them, and they know the pets. However, if the sitter is not available then a fully informed substitute sitter will be available for back up and you will always meet them beforehand.

 

What happens if I didn't leave enough pet food?

A: We will notify you that there is not enough food so that you are aware and perhaps you have more food in another place in your home.
If we do need to make a special trip that is out of our way to purchase food, we will gladly do so. We will, however, charge a fee for extra travelling if need be.
That is why we require a 70% deposit before you leave. This money is for emergency purposes such as running out of food or if there is a need to put down a deposit for veterinary care.


Must I leave food for the sitter?

A: Food is entirely at your own discretion. But it would be nice if you could leave some food for the pet sitter. Please clearly communicate to your stay-over sitter what foodstuffs (if any) is for his/her use. Please also communicate if there won’t be anything so arrangements can be made.
You do not need to provide any food if you have booked once or twice a day visit; sitters might just have a cup of tea or so while spending time with the pets.
Please always provide adequate toilet paper, cleaning materials and other household items.


HOW TO BOOK & PAYMENT

When you do a booking and payment  this is how it is done .
  •  Send a WhatsApp to Sue on 076 546 2830, with all requirements of the sit. Ur Full name , cell , email address
  • Sue will send you a quote , and the contract  on accepting the quotes, a meet and greet will be arrange for the right sitter to come and meet you and the pets, You and the sitter must sign it and sent back to me on email sueshousesitting@gmail.com
  • The way payment is done is as follows
PAYMENT of R500.00 Deposit must be done ASAP to secure a sitter. After the meet and greet has been done.
THE BALANCE MUST BE PAID within 5 DAYS BEFORE YOU LEAVE IN FULL. NO PAYMENT , NO SERIVCE
THE DEPOSIT FEE IS NON-FUNDABLE,
We only accept EFT, please email proof of payment.

House/pet sitters ARE NOT an employee of Sue's Homes & Pets Sitting Services.
We are merely a Freelancer for your services once you have been accepted. We do not guarantee that your services will be required.
You will be booked according to feedback from the client/ Area or experience needed.
Should you be booked for a stay-in or a daily service, you must be there by the time that the client has asked you to be there or even the night before.
If you need to leave in the case of an emergency or for any other reason, I must be informed immediately before you leave.
Should there be any problems THEFT, DAMAGES, OR LOSS due to negligence on your part) at the Client's house which you were booked for you will be held liable for the Damaged.
This will result in your immediate removal from the premises as well from our books.
Sue’s House & Pets Sitting will not be held responsible for any injuries or death as a result of your duties as a HOUSE/PET SITTER.
You will look after the property at your own risk. Sue's Homes & Pets sitting will not be held responsible for any DAMAGES, LOSS, or ATTACKS by thieves, be this inside/ outside the property or on your person.

NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LOUD MUSIC/PARTY/BRAAI’S IS ALLOWED on or inside the premises.

DO NOT EAT the Client’s food unless permission has been given to you.
NO FRIENDS are allowed to visit or sleepover.


You will not open for anyone unless stated by the Client. The Client's phone/internet may not be used unless stated by the Client, if they have WIFI & agree that you may use it, they can give you their password if they choose to do so.
The Client may request you to Phone, SMS, or WhatsApp them for updates on their home and animals.
After completing your duties as a house/pet sitter, the house must be left as you received it. Should you decide to terminate your services with us, you must give at least 60 hours' notice if you are already booked for House/Pet sitting.
A replacement must be found for that Booking.
